2. Nuri Sahin – 16 years 10 months 18 days

Nuri Sahin became Borussia Dortmund’s youngest ever player in July 2005, when he made his debut in the UEFA Intertoto Cup third round clash against SK Sigma Olomouc. The midfielder made his Bundesliga debut less than one month later, and still holds the record for being the youngest player to have ever played in the league. Although, he will most certainly be pushed down to second place once Moukoko makes his debut.

Sahin also became the Bundesliga’s youngest ever goalscorer, when he found the net against 1. FC Nürnberg in November 2005, another record that Moukoko will be eyeing. Sahin went on to win the Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund in the 2010/11 season, and was voted as the Bundesliga player of the season for his strong performances in the middle of the park.

The midfielder then made the move to Real Madrid, but after an injury laden spell, he returned to Borussia Dortmund two years later. He then joined Werder Bremen in 2018, and then Turkish side Antalyaspor, before hanging up his boots and becoming Antalyaspor head coach in 2022.
