5. Gio Reyna – 17 years 02 months 05 days

Borussia Dortmund signed Gio Reyna from NYCFC in 2019, and after impressing in the mid-season training camp, he burst on to the first team scene in January 2020.

The attacking midfielder made his debut in Dortmund’s 5-3 win over Augsburg, and then announced himself to the world with a stunning long-range curler in the 3-2 DFB Pokal defeat to Werder Bremen. Reyna went on to make 18 appearances in the second half of last season, getting one goal and providing two assists.

He has continued his remarkable rise this season, and is now a first-team regular, having made quite an impression on those in charge at the club.

Reyna was rewarded with a new four year contract on his 18th birthday, and he looks set to be a key player for the Black and Yellows for years to come.
