Expected Borussia Dortmund starting XI vs Hertha Berlin
Borussia Dortmund get back to Bundesliga action on Saturday after the international break, with a tough away match against Hertha Berlin.
Borussia Dortmund are back after a couple weeks off for international football and jump right back in with one of the toughest fixtures in their upcoming schedule. The away game at Hertha Berlin has long been a thorn in Dortmund’s side, giving them more trouble than expected over previous years. Hertha play a very deep sitting defensive game at home, combined with their aggressive style, will make it very difficult for Dortmund to break them down.
Borussia Dortmund will be looking to get back to winning ways after the tough 3-2 loss to Bayern Munich before the break. There is positive news with Dan-Axel Zagadou as he has finally returned to team training and is nearing his return, although this game will come too early for him. With Zagadou back, Marcel Schmelzer is the only other injured player. Youssoufa Moukoko could be in line for his senior debut after turning 16.
Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up.
Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki
Roman Bürki will take his usual spot in goal on Saturday as Borussia Dortmund head to Berlin. Berlin could test Bürki on the counter attack with their three pronged attack, so he will need to stay sharp.
