Expected Borussia Dortmund starting XI vs Hertha Berlin

Defence: Thomas Meunier, Mats Hummels, Manuel Akanji, Raphael Guerreiro

Thomas Meunier has endured a rough start to life at Borussia Dortmund, but has looked slightly more stable in recent games. He should retain his spot at right-back. Raphael Guerreiro will man the other side of the pitch, Guerreiro is an automatic starter in key games and his movement up the left side will be a massive factor in breaking down the Hertha Berlin back line.

Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji will make up the heart of the defence for Borussia Dortmund. With Dan-Axel Zagadou still not fully fit, Hummels and Akanji remain the only two natural centre-backs Dortmund have. Unless Favre is going with a back three, those are the two most likely starters until Zagadou returns.
