Emre Can (7/10)

Emre Can’s willingness and commitment remain unparalleled. The German international’s fantastic run and cross to Erling Haaland for the equaliser kick-started Borussia Dortmund’s comeback in the second half. He looked solid as ever as he made his return to the line-up for the first time since testing positive for COVID-19.

Mats Hummels (7/10)

Hummels put in another rock solid performance and kept Krzysztof Piatek quiet. The leader of the Borussia Dortmund back-line made several key tackles (4) and interceptions (6) to ensure Bürki had a rather uneventful evening. Although he will feel he could have done slightly better to close down Cunha before his opener.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji was slightly unlucky to concede the penalty, as the contact was with Guendouzi minimal if any. Other than that, it was a largely error free display from the Swiss centre-back.
