Borussia Dortmund take on Club Brugge in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday, and we could see a much changed line-up take the field.

Erling Haaland’s four goals led Borussia Dortmund to a 5-2 win over Hertha Berlin on Saturday. But the compressed fixture list means that the next game is already upon us, and on Tuesday, the Black and Yellows will go up against Club Brugge on matchday four of the Champions League group stage.

Borussia Dortmund are currently top of Group F, with six points at the halfway stage. A win against Club Brugge at the Westfalenstadion would all but guarantee them a spot in the round of 16. Lucien Favre has confirmed that he will ring in the changes, as he looks to keep his squad fit and fresh for the packed schedule.

Marcel Schmelzer (rehab after knee surgery) and Reinier Jesus (COVID-19) are the two absentees for Borussia Dortmund. Although Dan-Axel Zagadou will likely miss the game as well, having just returned to training after a long lay-off. Thomas Delaney is also a doubt after missing the game in Berlin.

Here we look at the line-up Lucien Favre could pick for Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League clash against Club Brugge.
