Lukasz Piszczek (5.5/10)

Piszczek put in a largely reliable shift on his return to the side. But it was also clear that he is lacking match rhythm, having not played 90 minutes since the start of the season.

Mats Hummels (7.5/10)

Hummels had an excellent game up until he suffered a nasty looking foot injury. The 31 year old kept Ciro Immobile quiet for the majority of the game, and put out a lot of fires for his side. He made several vital clearances, interceptions and tackles to prevent Lazio from causing further damage to the Borussia Dortmund goal.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji made a sloppy error early on, but luckily for him, Hummels was there to recover the ball with Immobile closing in on goal. He looked solid after that mistake, and was once again the Borussia Dortmund player with the most touches of the ball.
