Centre-Backs: Emre Can, Mats Hummels, Dan-Axel Zagadou

Borussia Dortmund should welcome Dan-Axel Zagadou back to the starting XI after he came off the bench against Zenit. The Frenchman showed his excellent quality during his cameo against the Russian champions, which is a very encouraging sign for the Black and Yellows.

Mats Hummels is an injury doubt after picking up a knock against Zenit. But there is hope that the Borussia Dortmund vice-captain will be fit to start. While Manuel Akanji is struggling with a knee injury, and is a doubt to feature against Stuttgart.

Emre Can should line-up on the right side of the back three after playing on the left against Zenit. Lukasz Piszczek is also an option, but the veteran Pole could be rested ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Bremen.
