Jadon Sancho (5/10)
Sancho was looking to make things happen and did manage to create some openings in the first half. He worked hard and was a threat with his dribbling and risky passes. But unfortunately, his attempts were unsuccessful more often than not. He lost possession 27 times, although it doesn’t quite tell the full story of his performance.
Gio Reyna (7/10)
Reyna is the only Borussia Dortmund player who can say that he actually played well against Stuttgart. For the second weekend running, the 18 year old scored a stunning goal to bring his team level. He looked active and was full of running. He also thought he had scored a late consolation, but the goal was chalked off for offside. What happened on the other end of the pitch was certainly not his fault.
Marco Reus (4/10)
The Borussia Dortmund captain simply did not offer enough going forward. Playing as the false nine, he looked to collect the ball from deep. But his decision making was off, and he simply did not cause enough problems to the Stuttgart defence. He looked slow and his movement was poor. And his best moments in the game came on the defensive end of the pitch.
