Bundesliga Preview: Start of a new era as Borussia Dortmund travel to Werder Bremen

Team News

Borussia Dortmund welcomed back several players from short-term injuries against Stuttgart, with Raphael Guerreiro, Mats Hummels, Manuel Akanji and Mateu Morey making their way back to the starting XI. Dortmund will be without a number players still on Tuesday, Erling Haaland, Thorgan Hazard and Marcel Schmelzer are all expected to miss the game.

Werder Bremen are relatively healthy although they are missing three of their best players. Davie Selke, Milot Rashica and Niclas Fullkrug are all set to miss the game through injuries.

Expected Lineups:

Borussia Dortmund: Burki – Morey, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro – Can, Dahoud – Sancho, Reus, Reyna – Moukoko

Werder Bremen: Pavlenka – Gebre Selassie, Toprak, Freidl, Augustinsson – Eggestein, Möhwald, Mbom – Bittencourt, Chong – Sargent
