Players to Watch

Borussia Dortmund have been pretty toothless recently in attack and leaking goals in defence, so there are several players who need to step up in this one. The one player that has shone since Erling Haaland’s injury is 18 year old Gio Reyna. He has been one of the only sources of creativity and confidence in the Dortmund attack.

The experiment of playing Marco Reus and Julian Brandt in the striker’s position has gone on long enough without any success. It’s time to see based on having no other options at the very least what Youssoufa Moukoko can do with a start. Moukoko has been very impressive with his limited time on the field and with Haaland on the shelf he is the best option at this point.

Bremen have a number of players capable of hurting the Dortmund defence. Former Dortmund man Leonardo Bittencourt is often a thorn in their side, and they will have to be vary of him. The 26 year old has three goals so far this season.
