Previous Meeting: Werder Bremen 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

The last time these two teams faced each other was in February of 2020 before the Coronavirus break, with Borussia Dortmund coming away in a 2-0 victory.

Borussia Dortmund scored two quick goals in the second half the last time these two teams met, with Dan-Axel Zagadou and Erling Haaland finding the back of the net. It was an important win for Borussia Dortmund, and it came not long after their 3-2 defeat against Bremen in the DFB Pokal.

The points at stake are a lot more important this time around with Dortmund in their current state, so they will be looking for another confident performance and hopefully a clean sheet.
