Edin Terzic takes charge of his first game as Borussia Dortmund head coach on Tuesday as they go up against Werder Bremen.

Saturday’s heavy defeat to VfB Stuttgart marked the end of Lucien Favre’s time at Borussia Dortmund. Now with Edin Terzic at the helm for the rest of the season, Black and Yellows make the trip to Werder Bremen on Tuesday aiming to put an end to their their three game winless run in the Bundesliga.

The Stuttgart loss saw Borussia Dortmund slip to fifth place in the Bundesliga standings, six points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. They cannot afford any more defeats in the remaining two games before the Christmas break as they look to keep pace with the top three. Der BVB have struggled on their trips to Werder Bremen in recent years, and they will want to change that on Tuesday.

Borussia Dortmund will be without five first-team players for the game against Werder Bremen. Erling Haaland, Thorgan Hazard, Thomas Delaney, Thomas Meunier and Marcel Schmelzer will all miss Tuesday’s game. Youssoufa Moukoko could be handed his first senior start in the absence of Haaland.

Borussia Dortmund’s game against Werder Bremen will be streamed live in the United States on ESPN+, while fans in the United Kingdom can watch on BT Sport 2. The game will be broadcast live in Germany on Sky Sport Bundesliga UHD.
