
Bayern come from behind to end Wolfsburg’s unbeaten run
Bayern Munich ended their run of two games without a win by coming from behind to beat Wolfsburg 2-1. Maximilian Philipp gave the Wolves an early lead, but Robert Lewandowski turned the game around with goals either side of half time.
The win means that Bayern are a point behind Leverkusen ahead of the two sides’ meeting on Saturday.
Leipzig edge past Hoffenheim to keep pace with top two
Yussuf Poulsen’s volley in the 60th minute was enough to help RB Leipzig beat Hoffenheim to stay a point behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Leipzig weren’t at their best, but defended with great resolve to ensure that Julian Nagelsmann tasted victory against his former club.
