Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to build on Tuesday’s win over Werder Bremen as they go up against Union Berlin on Friday.

The Edin Terzic era got off to the perfect start on Tuesday, as Borussia Dortmund dispatched Werder Bremen 2-1 to snap their run of three games without a win in the Bundesliga. The Black and Yellows face another tough test on Friday, as they take on Union Berlin.

The Berliners are enjoying a fine start to the season and go into matchday 13 in sixth place in the Bundesliga standings. Urs Fischer’s side held Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw last weekend, and they will now be aiming to pull off another upset against Borussia Dortmund.

Edin Terzic delivered some positive news on the injury front ahead of the game. Mats Hummels should be fit to feature despite limping off late on against Bremen. Thomas Meunier and Thomas Delaney are also in contention, having retuned to training. Erling Haaland, Thorgan Hazard and Marcel Schmelzer remain out for now, but the former is on the comeback trail after announcing earlier this week that he has recovered from his muscle injury. Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up against Union Berlin.
