Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Bürki will keep his place between the sticks, looking to end a run of six games without a clean-sheet in the Bundesliga. The Swiss shot-stopper made an excellent save against Werder Bremen, and will be full of confidence heading into Friday’s game as a result.

Defence: Mateu Morey, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

Barring any fitness or injury issues, there likely won’t be any changes to the back four that played against Werder Bremen. Even though Thomas Meunier is fit again, there’s no need to rush him back into the starting XI. Mateu Morey has shown that he is more than capable of getting the job done at right-back.

Unless Mats Hummels isn’t fully fit, he will likely start alongside Manuel Akanji in the middle of the defence. If Hummels needs a breather, Dan-Axel Zagadou is a more than capable replacement.

Raphael Guerreiro will start at left-back, looking to build on his goal against Werder Bremen.
