With Thorgan Hazard and Erling Haaland still missing, Edin Terzic will not be able to make too many changes to his front four. Jadon Sancho will likely start on the right, looking to build on what was an encouraging performance against Werder Bremen.
Marco Reus’ performance on Tuesday was arguably his best of the season so far. He is another player who could be in need for a rest. But with the lack of attacking options in the team, it remains to be seen if he will get it on Friday.
In the absence of Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna is Borussia Dortmund’s joint highest goalscorer along with Marco Reus (both have found the net four times). The 18 year old will start on the left wing once again on Friday.

It will be interesting to see if Edin Terzic sticks with Youssoufa Moukoko in the starting XI. The 16 year old showed a good account of himself on his full debut. But it is also important for Borussia Dortmund manage Moukoko’s workload this early in his career. So Julian Brandt could come into the team in his stead.
