Previous Meeting: Borussia Dortmund 5-0 Union Berlin

Borussia Dortmund cruised to a 5-0 win over Union Berlin the last time these two sides met. Erling Haaland celebrated his first Borussia Dortmund start by scoring a brace, while Jadon Sancho, Axel Witsel and Marco Reus also got on the score-sheet to seal a comfortable win at the Westfalenstadion.

But Union Berlin did manage to pull off one of the biggest shocks of last season when they defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at home to earn their first ever Bundesliga win.

Borussia Dortmund simply cannot afford to take Urs Fischer’s side lightly, as they are more than capable of hurting them.
