Union Berlin vs Borussia Dortmund: TV and Live Stream
Borussia Dortmund take on Union Berlin in a tough away game on Friday looking to build off the momentum from their win against Bremen.
Borussia Dortmund are coming off their first Bundesliga win in three, having beaten Werder Bremen on Tuesday. And they will now be looking to take that momentum into their game against Union Berlin. Against Bremen, we saw new head coach Edin Terzic switch the system to a back four, along with starting 16 year old Youssoufa Moukoko up front.
Although Moukoko didn’t find the back of the net, there was plenty to like about his first star. He got himself into scoring positions several times and it is only a matter of time before one of them finds the back of the net. Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho also showed encouraging signs with their solid performances.
Union Berlin are a much more difficult opponent than Werder. They are very organised defensively and have been having a great season so far by their standards as they currently sit in sixth place. Although Union haven’t won any of their previous four games, they have only lost twice this season. Their biggest result being the 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich on match day 11.
Borussia Dortmund did get some reinforcements back with Thomas Delaney and Thomas Meunier both making the trip to Berlin. It remains to be seen if they are fit enough to play from the start but at worst they will be options from the bench. Dortmund will still be missing a couple key players with Erling Haaland, Thorgan Hazard and Marcel Schmelzer all ruled out with injuries, while Felix Passlack and Reinier didn’t make the squad.
