Borussia Dortmund face Eintracht Braunschweig test: DFB Pokal Preview

Previous Meeting: Eintracht Braunschweig 1-2 Borussia Dortmund (2014)
These two sides last met in February 2014, when Borussia Dortmund earned a 2-1 win over Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga. The Black and Yellows got the three points courtesy of a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brace.
The Gabon international tapped home the opener after Robert Lewandowski chipped the ball onto his path. Benjamin Kessel scored a shock equaliser for Eintracht Braunschweig after Dortmund failed to defend a corner.
But Aubameyang scored what proved to be the winner just ten minutes later with a composed finish into the bottom corner.
Eintracht Braunschweig were relegated at the end of the 2013/14 season, and Tuesday’s meeting will be the first between the two sides since then. Dortmund and Braunschweig have gone head to head 40 times in the past, with both teams coming out on top 15 times.
