A spot in the DFB-Pokal round of 16 will be on the line as Borussia Dortmund take on Eintracht Braunschweig on Tuesday.

With only one win in their last five Bundesliga games, Borussia Dortmund will be looking to end the year on a high by sealing their progress to the third round of the DFB-Pokal. In order to do that, they must overcome the challenge of second division side Eintracht Braunschweig.

The Lions are currently 15th in the 2. Bundesliga standings, but did manage to pull off a shock 5-4 win over Hertha Berlin in the first round of the DFB Pokal. Defeating Borussia Dortmund will be an even bigger scalp for them. And Edin Terzic will certainly be mindful of their ability to cause problems to the Dortmund defence.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Erling Haaland and Marcel Schmelzer. While Youssoufa Moukoko, Mahmoud Dahoud, Reinier Jesus and Felix Passlack have also not made the trip to Braunschweig.

Thorgan Hazard is back and could feature after missing the last three games. Also in the squad is Borussia Dortmund II striker and captain Stefan Tigges.

Fans can watch the game live in the United States on ESPN Deportes, while OneFootball will stream it for viewers in the United Kingdom. The game will also be live in Germany on Sport1. The DFB will also stream the match on their YouTube channel (available only in select countries).
