Schalke 04 have appointed their fourth head coach of the season, while Michael Rummenigge has hailed Jude Bellingham as one of the best signings of the summer.

Michael Rummenigge praises Jude Bellingham

Former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich forward Michael Rummenigge has hailed Jude Bellingham as one of the best signings of the summer. In his column for SportBuzzer, the 56 year old said that Bellingham has proven why he is considered to be one of the best young talents in Europe.

Rummenigge named Union Berlin’s Max Kruse and Hertha Berlin’s Matteo Guendouzi as his other two signings of the season so far. While RB Leipzig’s Alexander Sörloth, Union Berlin’s Loris Karius and Schalke’s Vedad Ibisevic got Rummenigge’s vote for the flops of the season so far.

Schalke 04 appoint Christian Groß

Schalke 04 have confirmed the appointment of Christian Groß as their new head coach. The former Tottenham Hotspur and VfB Stuttgart trainer joins them until the end of the season. Groß becomes Schalke’s fourth head coach of the season, after David Wagner, Manuel Baum and Huub Stevens.

Groß has been out of work since February, when he was sacked by Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli. His first task will be to get Schalke back to winning ways. The Royal Blues are winless in their last 29 Bundesliga games, and currently find themselves rooted to the bottom of table with just four points after 13 games.

Schalke are seven points adrift of safety going into the new year. And Groß has his work cut out as he looks to keep them in the Bundesliga.
