Erling Haaland double sinks PSG

Erling Haaland was the star of the show once again as Borussia Dortmund earned a 2-1 win in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash against PSG in February. After an action-packed but goalless first half, Borussia Dortmund finally took the lead through Haaland in the 70th minute.

Neymar scored the equaliser for PSG, but Haaland restored Borussia Dortmund’s advantage just moments later with a sublime finish from the edge of the box, leaving Keylor Navas with absolutely no chance.

The goal proved to be the winner, as Borussia Dortmund enjoyed their most memorable Champions League night of the year at the Westfalenstadion. They dominated the game and could have easily scored more goals on the night.

PSG bounced back in the second leg to eliminate the Black and Yellows from the Champions League, but no one can deny how special the first leg of the tie truly was.
