Erling Haaland runs riot in Berlin as Youssoufa Moukoko makes history
Borussia Dortmund enjoyed another second half goal fest in Berlin in November, as they came from behind to beat Hertha BSC 5-2, courtesy of Erling Haaland’s four goal haul.
Matheus Cunha’s first half goal had the Berliners on top going into the break. But Erling Haaland came out for the second half like a man on a mission. The striker quickly turned the game on its head, scoring twice in the first four minutes of the second half to give Borussia Dortmund the lead.
Haaland then completed his hat-trick in the 62nd minute, before Raphael Guerreiro poked home Dortmund’s fourth. Cunha then pulled a goal back for Hertha after they were awarded a dubious penalty. But Haaland went down to the other end straight from kick-off and scored his fourth goal of the game to cap off a world-class performance.
To make the game even more memorable for Borussia Dortmund, Youssoufa Moukoko came on to make his senior debut just one day after turning 16. It was a truly special evening for the striker, who became the youngest player to ever play in the Bundesliga.
