Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg: Expected Starting Lineup for Bundesliga clash

Defence: Thomas Meunier, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

Borussia Dortmund finally have their full strength available to them on defence. Dortmund went through a two month stretch where key defenders were constantly suffering injuries, going in and out of the lineup. It will be interesting to see how Terzic handles having three fit centre backs as he will need to start integrating Dan-Axel Zagadou back into the starting XI at some point.

However, in a big game like this right off the hop, Terzic is probably going to go with the two defenders in better match rhythm, so Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji should start.

In the full-back positions, it will likely be Thomas Meunier on the right. Mateu Morey is also in with a chance if Terzic decides that Meunier’s shortcomings will hurt the team. On the other side Raphael Guerreiro is one of the first names on the Borussia Dortmund team-sheet and is arguably the team’s most consistent and best player.
