Team News

Borussia Dortmund welcomed back Erling Haaland from injury last weekend, and he is set to lead the line against Leipzig as well. But they will have to make do without Thorgan Hazard, Marcel Schmelzer and Jude Bellingham who are all out with injury. Hazard’s absence has been sorely felt, especially with Reus and Sancho struggling for form this season.

Meanwhile, Youssoufa Moukoko will return to the squad, having recovered from his knee injury. Terzic went from having no strikers at his disposal to now having three options with Haaland, Moukoko and Tigges, who has impressed in his two appearances.

RB Leipzig will be without new signing Dominik Szoboszlai, who has an adductor injury. Julian Nagelsmann will also not be able to count out Benjamin Henrichs, Ibrahima Konate and Konrad Laimer. While Justin Kleivert, Ibrahima Konaté and Christopher NKunku are all injury doubts going into the game.

Expected Lineups

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Meunier, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro – Witsel, Delaney – Sancho, Reus, Reyna – Haaland

RB Leipzig: Gulacsi – Orban, Upamecano, Halstenberg – Adams, Sabitzer, Kampl, Angelino – Haidara, Olmo – Forsberg
