Players to Watch

After scoring his first Bundesliga goal of the season, Jadon Sancho will be itching to build off that performance. He is going to be one to watch for Borussia Dortmund in the coming weeks, now that he has found his form. With some increased confidence, we could see the a flood of strong performances from the Englishman. Erling Haaland is always one to watch when Dortmund play. After being kept off the score sheet last weekend, he will be determined to find the net this time around.

On the defensive end, it will be interesting to see if Edin Terzic sticks with Thomas Meunier at right-back. The right side of the Dortmund defence is the clear weak point, and Leipzig will no doubt look to target him. Meunier has a proclivity for making mistakes with the ball, especially near the Dortmund box. And Leipzig will be wary of that.

Angelino is enjoying a breakthrough season with Leipzig, proving to be one of their most threatening players. With four goals to his name, he is Leipzig’s joint top-scorer in the Bundesliga as a left-back. Leipzig have a lot of attacking talent and Dortmund will need to keep tabs on Emil Forsberg, Dani Olmo and Marcel Sabitzer as they look to drift through the attacking areas.
