Attack: Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Gio Reyna, Erling Haaland

Jadon Sancho is coming off scoring his first Bundesliga goal of the season against Wolfsburg and will be looking to build on that against Leipzig. No one would be surprised to see Sancho explode into an exceptional run of form now that he is finding his feet again. The Englishman has been involved in each of the last four goals Borussia Dortmund have scored.

Marco Reus and Gio Reyna will likely occupy the other two attacking midfield positions. With Thorgan Hazard out and Julian Brandt being used sparingly there aren’t really any other options at the moment. Reus will likely look to drop into a midfield role to collect the ball from deeper positions, as he has done in all of Edin Terzic’s games in charge so far.

Erling Haaland will lead the line for Dortmund up front. Haaland wasn’t able to find the net against Wolfsburg on his return to the starting XI and will be hungry to get back on the scoresheet after his long layoff. The last time these two teams met, Haaland scored a brace to ensure a 2-0 Borussia Dortmund win.
