Borussia Dortmund without Mahmoud Dahoud, Reinier for game against RB Leipzig

Mahmoud Dahoud, Reinier Jesus and Felix Passlack have not been included in the Borussia Dortmund squad for the game against RB Leipzig.
Borussia Dortmund made the trip to Leipzig ahead of Saturday’s topspiel on Friday evening with a 20-man squad. Youssoufa Moukoko made the trip after recovering from his knee injury. But Mahmoud Dahoud, Reinier Jesus and Felix Passlack were not included in the squad. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, the trio miss out due to the many options available to Edin Terzic.
All three players have found themselves on the fringes in recent weeks and have yet to feature since Edin Terzic took over from Lucien Favre. Dahoud and Reinier have been limited to just eight appearances so far this season, while Felix Passlack has played in ten matches.
The injured trio of Jude Bellingham (foot), Thorgan Hazard (muscle) and Marcel Schmelzer (rehab after knee surgery) remain out for Borussia Dortmund. RN add that second choice goalkeeper Marwin Hitz was also not in the traveling squad, with the highly rated Luca Unbehaun taking his place. It remains to be seen if Hitz is carrying an injury.
Borussia Dortmund II captain Steffen Tigges has also made the trip to Leipzig after impressing on his first two appearances for the senior team.
Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to build on last weekend’s win over Wolfsburg as they go up against RB Leipzig on Saturday. The Black and Yellows are currently fourth in the Bundesliga standings, six points behind Leipzig, who are in second place.
