Thomas Delaney (6.5/10)

Delaney was booked in the first half and it looked like a second yellow card wasn’t far away before he was replaced by Dan-Axel Zagadou in the 68th minute. Despite that, the Dane put in a committed and aggressive shift for his side, making some vital tackles to protect the defence. He wasn’t afraid of getting into duels, and won the majority of them. But his forward passing left a lot to be desired and resulted in a few ball losses. All in all, it was a typical Delaney performance.

Axel Witsel (N/R)

Witsel looked promising before suffering an unfortunate achilles injury due to a slip in the 30th minute. The injury did not look good at all, but hopefully, he will be back in action before long.
