Emre Can (6.5/10)

Can looked a bit rusty after coming on to replace the injured Axel Witsel. But he got much more comfortable in the second half and caused Leipzig a few problems with his directness from midfield. He came close to opening the scoring in the second half, but his header from Jadon Sancho’s corner went just over the bar.

Dan-Axel Zagadou (5/10)

Zagadou replaced Thomas Delaney in the second half as Edin Terzic reverted to a back five. He did okay for the majority of his cameo, but lost out to Sørloth towards the end, allowing the striker to fire home a consolation goal for Leipzig.

Julian Brandt (N/R)

Brandt came on for Marco Reus for the final five minutes of the game.
