Borussia Dortmund will have the chance to go third in the Bundesliga table on Tuesday as they take on Bayer Leverkusen in their final game of the hinrunde.

After being held to a 1-1 draw by Mainz 05 at the weekend, Borussia Dortmund head into a big week that could make or break their title credentials. The Black and Yellows face two potentially season defining six-pointers this week, starting with Tuesday’s clash against Bayer Leverkusen.

Just goal difference separates Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen going into the game. And defeat would no doubt be a big blow to either side’s hopes of challenging for the title this season.

Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without a number of key players against Leverkusen. Axel Witsel, Thorgan Hazard and Marcel Schmelzer are all out with long-term injuries, while Dan-Axel Zagadou is now also sidelined for several weeks. Emre Can will miss the game against his former employers through suspension, while Gio Reyna is also a doubt.

Here we take a look at how Edin Terzic could set his Borussia Dortmund team up against Bayer Leverkusen.

Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Roman Bürki will start in goal, looking to keep his first away clean sheet in the league since October. The Swiss shot stopper was beaten by a stunning long-range effort on Saturday, and will be hoping for a quiet evening against a struggling Leverkusen side.
