Luka Jovic marks Eintracht Frankfurt return with a brace
Luka Jovic made his return to the Bundesliga as Eintracht Frankfurt took on Schalke 04 on Sunday. And the Real Madrid loanee proved to be the difference maker on his debut, as his second half brace sealed a 3-1 win for the Eagles. Andre Silva had earlier given Eintracht the lead, before Matthew Hippe’s equaliser soon after.
With his brace against Schalke, Luka Jovic equalled his Real Madrid goal-tally despite being on the pitch for less than 30 minutes.
Union Berlin continue remarkable rise with win over Leverkusen
Union Berlin registered yet another impressive victory to continue their incredible start to the season, as earned a 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen. Cedric Teuchert’s 88th minute winner gave the Berliners a priceless victory as they moved to within one point of fourth placed Borussia Dortmund.
