Borussia Dortmund face a tough away trip to Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday as they look to recover from their damaging defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.
Borussia Mönchengladbach host Borussia Dortmund on Friday evening and there is no shortage of intriguing storylines in the build-up to the game. Gladbach head coach Marco Rose has been heavily linked with a move to Dortmund in recent months, and he will be looking to make a good impression on the BVB bosses. While Edin Terzic will be determined to get the three points and show those in charge that he deserves to get the job permanently. We could be in for quite a tactical battle between the two trainers.

The Foals haven’t tasted defeat in their last five games, and earned a narrow win over Werder Bremen on Tuesday. Borussia Dortmund were handed a 2-1 defeat by Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday. They were outplayed and outfought by their top four rivals, and simply cannot afford to drop points on Friday. Julian Brandt found the net on Tuesday, but the Black and Yellows endured a difficult evening both in defence and up front. Failure to win against Gladbach could see them slip to as low as eighth place in the Bundesliga standings.
