Borussia Dortmund will be looking to bounce back against Augsburg after back to back losses against their direct top four rivals. The Black and Yellows have been in a rough run of form recently, dropping points in each of their last three outings. These results have seen them slip to seventh place in the league table, leaving them in real danger of struggling to meet their minimum goal of securing Champions League football.

Although it’s clear that Borussia Dortmund have the talent to push Bayern Munich for the title, they seem to be lacking any consistency to pull off a real challenge. Along with their complete inability to defend set pieces, it is somewhat of a perfect storm right now.

Borussia Dortmund will be without several key players this weekend with Thorgan Hazard, Thomas Meunier, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Axel Witsel all out injured. Roman Bürki is also set to miss the game with a shoulder injury, according to reports in Germany.

Augsburg are coming off a 2-1 win against Union Berlin, and did manage to earn a win over BVB when the two sides met in September. Augsburg also came close to earning a draw against Bayern not too long ago.

The game can be streamed live in the United States on ESPN+ and viewers in Germany can watch live on Sky Sport Bundesliga 1.
