Defence: Mateu Morey, Manuel Akanji, Emre Can, Nico Schulz

Mateu Morey will likely keep his place at right-back in the absence of the injured Thomas Meunier. Lukasz Piszczek could also be an option after he replaced Morey in the second half on Saturday. But the young Spaniard needs game-time and should start on Tuesday.

With Mats Hummels injured, we will likely see Manuel Akanji and Emre Can as the two centre-backs against Paderborn. Lukasz Piszczek could also come in at centre-back should Edin Terzic decide to put Can in midfield

One player who will likely get a rest though is Raphael Guerreiro. The Portuguese international was back to his world-class best against Augsburg, but this is the perfect opportunity to give him a bit of a breather. Nico Schulz is the obvious choice to replace him, just as he did late on at the weekend. Felix Passlack is another option for the two full-back roles.
