Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for Bundesliga clash against Freiburg

Defence: Mateu Morey, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

We could see Borussia Dortmund return to the back four formation with Mats Hummels likely to be fit to feature on Saturday. If Hummels isn’t fit, Edin Terzic will probably stick with a back three, with Emre Can and Lukasz Piszczek joining Manuel Akanji in defence.

Raphael Guerreiro should also return to the starting line-up after being rested for the game against Paderborn. The Portuguese international did come off the bench for the 30 minutes of extra time in that game, but he should still be well rested going into the clash against Freiburg.

Mateu Morey is also likely to be fit to feature despite being forced off at half time on Tuesday. It could be his final chance to impress in the starting XI, with Thomas Meunier likely to return to the squad for next weekend’s game against Hoffenheim.
