BILD: Florian Neuhaus is Borussia Dortmund’s main transfer target for the summer

Borussia Dortmund have great interest in signing Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus, with BILD claiming that he is the club’s main transfer target for the summer transfer window. The 23 year old has a release clause in the range of 40 million euros in his contract, which becomes active in the summer.

Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid are also said to be interested in signing Neuhaus, who has been one of Gladbach’s best players this season. The German international is considered to be one of the best young midfielders in Europe, and it is easy to see why Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing him.

Neuhaus has made a total of 27 appearances for Gladbach this season, and has five goals and six assists to his name. He still more than three years remaining on his contract with the Foals.

Borussia Dortmund also targeting Marco Rose, new goalkeeper

BILD also report that there are many indications Marco Rose will be the new Borussia Dortmund head coach in the summer. The Gladbach trainer has been heavily linked with a move to the Black and Yellows. He has a release clause of five million euros in his contract, which is valid until the end of May.

The tabloid also adds that Borussia Dortmund will allow Jadon Sancho to leave in the summer if they receive a fee of 120 million euros. Memphis Depay, who will be available on a free transfer in the summer, could be a target to replace him.

Marwin Hitz, Felix Passlack, Marcel Schmelzer, Mahmoud Dahoud and Nico Schulz will also be allowed to leave in the summer. A new first-choice goalkeeper is likely to be brought in, with Peter Gulacsi and Odysseas Vlachodimos listed as possible targets.
