Team News

The big news ahead of the game is that Thorgan Hazard is back in team training. Whether he will be fit enough to make the squad on Saturday remains to be seen. But his return comes at the perfect time for Borussia Dortmund.

Roman Bürki (shoulder), Thomas Meunier (knee), Axel Witsel (achilles tendon), Lukasz Piszczek (muscle), Dan-Axel Zagadou (hamstring) and Marcel Schmelzer (rehab after surgery) will all miss Saturday’s game.

Hoffenheim will have to make do without Tottenham loanee Ryan Sessegnon, as well as Kevin Akpoguma, Dennis Geiger, Joshua Brenet, Havard Nordtveit, Ermin Bicakcic and Benjamin Hübner.

Borussia Dortmund: Hitz – Can, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro – Delaney, Bellingham – Moukoko, Reus, Sancho – Haaland

TSG Hoffenheim: Baumann – Posch, Vogt, Richards – Kaderabek, Samassekou, Rudy, Grillitsch, John – Bebou, Kramaric
