Borussia Dortmund are back at home in the Bundesliga this weekend as they take on TSG Hoffenheim, with both teams looking to get back to winning ways.
Borussia Dortmund are coming off another disappointing loss against Freiburg and have only won one of their last five Bundesliga games, with three losses in that span. They are really struggling to put a string of wins together and that has resulted in them dropping out of the top four. Dortmund currently sit in sixth place, four points behind Frankfurt who are fourth.
Borussia Dortmund will be without several key players this weekend. Thomas Meunier, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Axel Witsel, Lukasz Piszczek, Roman Bürki and Marcel Schmelzer will all be missing on Saturday. Thorgan Hazard is back in team training, and could be on the bench.
Here’s a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up against Hoffenheim.
Goalkeeper: Marwin Hitz
Hitz didn’t have his best outing last weekend, but with Roman Burki unavailable, he will start in goal once again on Saturday. Hitz will be looking to bounce back after that disappointing performance against Freiburg.
