Borussia Dortmund continued their poor run of form in the Bundesliga, as they could only manage a 2-2 draw at home to TSG Hoffenheim on Matchday 21. Edin Terzic’s side took the lead early on through Jadon Sancho, but Munas Dabbur equalised for Hoffenheim soon after. Ihlas Bebou then made it 2-1 in the second half, before Erling Haaland rescued a point for Dortmund.

The result leaves the Black and Yellows in sixth place in the Bundesliga standings, six points behind fourth placed Wolfsburg.

RB Leipzig defeated FC Augsburg 2-1 on Friday evening to narrow the gap to Bayern Munich at the top of the table. Dani Olmo and Christopher Nkunku gave Julian Nagelsmann’s side a two goal lead in the first half, before Daniel Caligiuri halved the deficit in the 77th minute. But Augsburg weren’t able to find a late equaliser. Leipzig remain four points behind Bayern Munich, who have a game in hand.

Eintracht Frankfurt earned a 2-0 win over FC Köln on Sunday courtesy of second half goals from Andre Silva and Evan N’Dicka. Wolfsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach played out a goalless draw, which saw the Wolves slip to fourth place.
