Team News

Borussia Dortmund will likely have to make do without Thorgan Hazard (back in training), Roman Bürki (shoulder), Axel Witsel (achilles tendon), Lukasz Piszczek (muscle), Dan-Axel Zagadou (back in training) and Marcel Schmelzer (rehab after surgery) for the first leg against Sevilla. Thomas Meunier (knee) could potentially be back in the side after missing the last four games.

Thomas Delaney did not make the trip to Seville, with his wife due to give birth soon. It is still expected that the Dane will be able to fly in later on.

Erling Haaland will lead the line, having missed the last two Champions League group stage games with a torn muscle fibre. He will be joined in attack by the in-form Jadon Sancho. Marco Reus is also set to make his return to the starting XI.

Sevilla are expected to be without the injured Lucas Ocampos and Marcos Acuna for the game against Borussia Dortmund.

Sevilla: Bounou – Navas, Koundé, Diego Carlos, Escudero – Jordan, Fernando, Rakitic – Suso, Gomez – En-Nesyri
