Midfield: Thomas Delaney, Julian Brandt, Mahmoud Dahoud

Mahmoud Dahoud finally got some real minutes against Sevilla. And he showed his quality by scoring a screamer to draw the game level. After his impressive performance against Sevilla, he surely deserves another start, and does get the chance in the team.

Jude Bellingham also impressed in midfield on Wednesday, but Julian Brandt replaces him in the line-up against Schalke. Brandt impressed in the derby last season, and hopefully, we will see another solid performance from him on Saturday.

Thomas Delaney was absent against Sevilla due to the birth of his child, but he will be back this weekend and will get right back into the starting XI. Delaney loves playing against Schalke, he always seems to bring his best performances in the Revierderby.
