Borussia Dortmund return to the Signal Iduna Park this weekend to take on relegation threatened Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga. With Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in excellent form, the Black and Yellows will be hoping to make light work of their opponents on Saturday as they gear up for next week’s crunch fixtures against Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayern Munich.

Having earned back-to-back wins over Sevilla and Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund go into this weekend’s clash in fine form. Edin Terzic’s side look to have finally found their attacking rhythm and confidence. Last weekend’s 4-0 thrashing of arch-rivals Schalke was a timely reminder of what they are capable of when at their best. But with Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt still six points clear, Dortmund must ensure that they now build on that emphatic win and go on a winning run.

Arminia Bielefeld have won just one of their last six games, but they did manage to earn a 3-3 draw away to Bayern Munich earlier this month. Last season’s 2. Bundesliga champions currently find themselves in the relegation play-off spot, but they have shown that they are more than capable of keeping up with the big teams.
Arminia’s defensive discipline and resolve was missing last weekend against Wolfsburg though, as they suffered a 3-0 defeat. Borussia Dortmund will be aiming for a similar result this weekend.
