Team News

Borussia Dortmund are set to be bolstered by the return of a number of key players, including Roman Bürki, Thorgan Hazard and Dan-Axel Zagadou. But one player who will be out for a while is Manuel Akanji. He joins Axel Witsel and Marcel Schmelzer on the treatment table.

Emre Can is expected to start at centre-back in Akanji’s absence, with Zagadou unlikely to be ready in time to start.

Arminia Bielefeld do not have any injury concerns to deal with, and head coach Uwe Neuhaus will likely stick with a similar starting XI to the one we have seen in recent games.

Expected Starting XIs

Borussia Dortmund: Hitz – Meunier, Can, Hummels, Guerreiro – Delaney, Dahoud – Sancho, Reus, Reyna – Haaland

Arminia Bielefeld: Ortega – Brunner, Pieper, Nilsson, Laursen – Kunze, Prietl – Doan, Vlap, Voglsammer – Klos
