Defence: Thomas Meunier, Emre Can, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

With Manuel Akanji out injured and Dan-Axel Zagadou unlikely to be fully ready just yet, we should see Emre Can line-up at centre-back along with Mats Hummels. The German international did a solid job against Schalke last weekend, and will be hoping to help his side keep another clean-sheet on Saturday.

Raphael Guerreiro was back on the score-sheet last weekend. And he will start at left-back against Arminia, unless Edin Terzic decides to give him a rest ahead of the key upcoming games. In that case, we could see Nico Schulz start instead.

Thomas Meunier has come off the bench in each of the last two games. And he should be ready to make his return to the starting XI this weekend. Mateu Morey has done a fairly decent job in Meunier’s presence, and could be given a rest ahead of Tuesday’s game against Gladbach.
