The coaching merry-go-round is in full swing in the Bundesliga. Schalke 04 and Arminia Bielefeld have already changed coaches this week, and Bayer Leverkusen could reportedly follow suit if they fail to get a result this weekend.

Schalke 04 have appointed Dimitrios Grammozis as their new head coach after parting ways with Christian Gross on Sunday. The 42 year old becomes the relegation battling side’s fifth head coach of the season. And his first game in charge is a relegation six pointer against Mainz 05 this Sunday.

Schalke have recorded just one win in the Bundesliga so far this season and find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table. Barring a miracle in the final weeks of the season, relegation looks to be a distinct possibility for the Royal Blues.

Arminia Bielefeld will also have a new head coach in their dugout this weekend after Uwe Neuhaus was let go earlier this week. Former RB Salzburg youth academy director Frank Kramer is the man tasked with saving Arminia from relegation. Last season’s 2. Bundesliga champions currently find themselves in relegation play-offs spot. They are just a point clear of 17th placed Mainz, but do have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Peter Bosz is fighting to save his job at Bayer Leverkusen. SportBILD claim that the former Borussia Dortmund head coach could well be sacked if Leverkusen lose to Borussia Mönchengladbach. The only thing in his favour right now is the lack of available alternatives.
