Bayern Munich have bounced back from their surprise defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt by earning comprehensive wins over Lazio and FC Köln in their last two games. They put five goals past the Billy Goats last weekend, with Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry both scoring two goals each.
Hansi Flick’s side were also able to enjoy a week off, having already been eliminated from the DFB-Pokal. And that could give them the edge against Dortmund, who played out a gruelling Pokal quarterfinal against Gladbach on Tuesday.

Borussia Dortmund are enjoying their best form of the season so far. The Black and Yellows have won each of their last four games, and will be looking to finally ending their woeful winless run at the Allianz Arena this weekend.
Edin Terzic’s side earned a 3-0 win over Arminia Bielefeld last weekend, and followed it up with a narrow win over Gladbach to qualify for the DFB-Pokal semi-finals. But with Eintracht Frankfurt still three points ahead, Dortmund cannot afford to drop points this weekend.
