Just five teams remain in the hunt to win the 2020/21 DFB-Pokal, and the draw for the semi-finals will be made on Sunday, March 07 (18:30 CET). Borussia Dortmund sealed their progress to the semi-finals by earning a 1-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach on Tuesday, with Jadon Sancho scoring the only goal of the game. And they will now be aiming to win the competition for the first time since 2017.

The Black and Yellows are the heavy favourites to win the DFB-Pokal this season, along with RB Leipzig, who earned a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg to qualify for the semi-finals. Leipzig have yet to concede a goal in the competition this season.

Holstein Kiel, who earned a stunning upset win over Bayern Munich in the second round of the competition, have also made it through to the semi-finals. They continued their memorable cup run by defeating fourth division side Rot-Weiss Essen 3-0 in the quarter-finals.

One of Werder Bremen and SSV Jahn Regensburg will join these three teams in the semi-finals. Their quarter-final clash was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak at Jahn Regensburg. Their tie will now be played on April 07.

Here are the five teams that will be in Sunday’s draw for the DFB-Pokal semi-finals. The draw will be broadcast live in Germany by ARD-Sportschau.
