Defence: Mateu Morey, Emre Can, Mats Hummels, Nico Schulz

Edin Terzic went with a back three formation on Saturday, with Emre Can joining Mats Hummels and Dan-Axel Zagadou in defence. But with how well the 4-3-3 formation worked against Sevilla, he has gone with the back four formation for the second leg as well.

Zagadou delivered a solid performance in the defeat to Bayern Munich. But its Emre Can who starts alongside Mats Hummels in central defence.

Mateu Morey returns to the starting XI after being rested on Saturday. The Spaniard has been a solid presence at right-back in recent and deserves to start ahead of Thomas Meunier.

Nico Schulz also keeps his place at left-back in the absence of the injured Raphael Guerreiro. He was involved in Dortmund’s second goal against Bayern, but will need to deliver a much better defensive performance on Tuesday.
